Membership in the Albany Area YMCA allows you to enjoy the full benefits of the facilities, resources, and programs available at the Y. Join as an individual or bring the entire family.

PERSONAL MEMBERSHIP DETAILS

Joining our Y gives you access to our facilities, gives you reduced member rates for Y programs. It also helps you build a positive, healthy lifestyle.

adult memberships

Adults over the age of 18 (or age 22 if a full-time student) may enroll with an Adult Membership.

family memberships

A family is defined as a married couple with or without legal dependent children or a single parent with legal dependent children. Proof of full-time student status or guardianship may be required.

There are certain areas restricted to members over age 12.            

YOUTH MEMBERSHIPS

A youth is defined as an individual up to 18 years of age. This includes individuals up to 22 years of age that can prove full-time student status and are dependent on parental support.

According to the youth policy, members age 12 and up may use the Health and Fitness Center, excluding the Free Weight Room, once they have signed parental consent and have two orientations by staff. The Free Weight Room is available to youth 15 and up provided they are cleared to use the Health and Fitness Center.

Monthly Membership Fees
Memberships may be paid through a monthly bank draft or credit/debit card draft. There are no contracts when payment is made through a monthly draft.  Reduced fees are available when an annual payment is made. An amenities membership at the Central Facility is available for an additional fee. Corporate memberships are available. For more information, contact Tracy Wallace at 436-0531.

Allows access to three facilites: Central Facility, Lee Branch and Sports Park.  

Adult:     $37.25/month or $394/year; Joining fee: $30

Family:    $55.75/month or $615/year; Joining fee: $40

Youth:    $22.50/month or $215/year; Joining fee: $20 

Lee Branch Only Membership
Allows use of the Lee Branch YMCA only.

Adult:   $26/month or $294/year; Joining fee: $30

Family:  $46/month or $504/year; Joining fee: $40

Youth:  $18/month or $168/year; Joining fee: $20
