With a focus on youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, strengthening communities is our cause. At the Y, we believe that lasting personal and social change happens when we all work together. Every day we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to be healthy, confident, connected and secure.

When you give to the Y, you are funding life-changing programs that help millions of children, adults and families in the United States and around the world to learn, grow and thrive.

YOUR SUPPORT HELPS THE Y DELIVER ON OUR COMMITMENT:

To nurture the potential of youth through building confidence at camp, academic enrichment in safe afterschool programs, or foundational skills and values in our child care programs
To improve our community’s health and well-being by combating obesity, and providing the support and resources people need to make positive change
To offer programs and services to deserving children, adults and families who need financial assistance

PARTNERS OF YOUTH

The drive is conducted each year in winter/spring. Led by volunteers, this fundraising effort provides funds for scholarships and youth programs. Year end gifts are also appreciated.

CAPITAL FUND DRIVES

Since 1910 YMCA, volunteers have conducted campaigns to build and improve YMCA facilities. Our most recent capital campaign to construct the Lee Branch raised $2 million, demonstrating our membership’s commitment to Lee County and its residents.

ENDOWMENT - THE CORNERSTONE CLUB

Planned giving is crucial as the YMCA works to build a strong future for our community. Endowment contributions may include cash, securities, charitable remainder trusts, charitable annuity trusts, gift annuities, life estates, bequests, and life insurance. Those who make a planned gift to the YMCA become members of our Cornerstone Club, appropriately named because a cornerstone is defined as the most basic element, a basic foundation for growth.

Memorials

Gifts made in memory are a lasting tribute to special friends and family members.

Special Events

Each year, the YMCA holds special events such as the Holiday Chili Run and SuperKidz Triathlon. In addition to spotlighting YMCA programs, these special events raise money for youth programs through sponsorship and registration fees.

In-Kind Gifts
