Albany YMCA Active Afterschool

Licensed by the State of Georgia, this program provides fun and affordable after school care for children enrolled in Pre-K through the 8th grade. Active Afterschool offers nutritious snacks, character development, academic enrichment, and fitness activities. Active Afterschool participants have the opportunity to participate in free swim lessons.

Program Hours: Monday - Friday, 2:30 - 6:00 p.m.

Current Location for Dougherty and Lee students: Albany Area YMCA Central Facility, 1701 Gillionville Road.

Amazing Grace Baptist Church on Ledo Road

The YMCA picks up from schools in Dougherty and Lee Counties, providing there are five students from that school enrolled in the program.

As a bonus for our Active Afterschool participants - all children enrolled in the afterschool program receive 1/2 off all YMCA programs, like swimming, soccer, tennis, dance and more.
